Rushville Fitness and Community Center

Nestled in rural Schuyler County, the Rushville Fitness and Community Center is the kind of place that punches well above its weight. It's where locals come to work out, shoot hoops, play tennis, and connect with their neighbors. But like many community facilities, energy costs were eating into the budget — money that could have been going toward programs and improvements.

The center's leadership saw an opportunity in solar, and Balance Solar was thrilled to help make it a reality. We delivered a rooftop installation that transformed the center's distinctive blue metal roof into a clean energy powerhouse. If you see the drone photography of this project, the scale is striking — panels covering a huge portion of the roof, with the tennis courts and rolling countryside framing the scene.

Through Balance Solar's Prepaid PPA structure, the community center accessed the financial benefits of Federal Investment Tax Credits without any of the complexity of managing them directly. No headaches, no tax expertise required — just clean energy and real savings.
